My Morning Glory..When You Got Kid..!

Am not talking about the pretty flower named 'morning glory', this is about my sweetie pie, Grace who turned on 2 years and 4 months old on January 1st, 2011. Recently she likes to watch 'Jumanji' movie, again and again, my husband and I thought still okay for her, now that she undertstand not only 'cartoons' but also the not cartoon one, maybe because part of the story is about 'stampede' showing wild animals such as: elephants, rhinoceros, zebras, pelicans who run fastly...she almost open her mouth when she saw this scene. She's been learning about 'animal' from the theme of her bathroom, the books, the zoo that we always visit regularly and also her stuffed animal toys.
Kalo punya anak balita, pagi hari nich..selalu heboh, anak kita, Grace usia 2 tahun 4 bulan pas Januari tanggal 1 kemaren. Akhir akhir ini hobi banget nonton DVD 'Jumanji'...sampe aku yang ikut nonton bosen rasanya. Mungkin karena di filem itu ada rombongan hewan liar macem: gajah, badak, zebra yang lari kencang tabrak sana tabrak sini. Emang sedari bayi, dia udah banyak belajar soal per-hewan-an, kita lebih suka memberi buku soal hewan atau sering ke kebun binatang, bahkan kamar-mandi-nya sengaja aku hias pake gambar hewan, pokoknya enggak nuansa pinky blas...!
My ritual morning when she wakes up, either we play in her room for a while or we go to the living room, she plays by herself then she would turn on tivi to watch kids program, then I go to the kitchen making my morning coffee or tea...which is one of my favorite time before I face the day. 
Kegiatanku tiap pagi setelah Grace bangun, ya kalo enggak bermain di kamar-nya, terus ke ruang tamu, lanjut maen lagi, kalo bosan ya dia trus nonton acara anak anak di tivi, dan aku ke dapur bikin kopi atau teh...lha ini nich waktu yang paling aku senengi sebelum memulai aktivitas.
This morning, Grace insisted to see what I was doing in the kitchen, so she drag the dining chair, (she's strong enough to do that, which I was surprise when the first time she did that)..and stood up on the upholstery that way she's as height as the kitchen countertop, I washed some of saucers when she grabbed one egg that I put on the countertop, it was so quick when she tried to crack up that egg, right away I said 'Grace, please don't do that, dear!'..but she threw the egg on the floor......!'...ooh dear, that's my first morning glory before I enjoy my tea!, brooming and mopping mode on!
Pagi ini, Grace pengin banget lihat apa yang lagi aku kerjain di dapur, dia menarik kursi di meja makan..(ini anak kuat juga, heran dech..)..dan berdiri diatas kursi, jadi dia setinggi meja dapur. Aku lagi nyuci piring waktu dia ambil telur yang aku letakkan di meja dapur, begitu cepatnya tau tau itu telur udah mau dipecah, malah udah retak gitu, langsung aja waktu aku lihat aku bilang..'Grace..!, jangan nak.., tidak boleh!..eeh, mungkin karena kaget, langsung aja itu telur dibanting ke lantai...haddeeww!...jadi lah pagi-ku yang ceria bikin aku nyapu dan ngepel itu lantai bahkan sebelum aku menyeruput teh.

....The second one was when I thought she's calm enjoy the cartoon on tivi and I was about to clean our bathrooms, she ran to me and cried 'mommy, mommy, I made mess, I made mess...!',(sounds pretty proud!)..oh dear what else now??...well, she spilled out the 'minyak telon' or 'Telon Oil'...it's traditional Javanese oil which is especially for baby and toddler, I got it when I went to Indonesia in March 2008. I love this oil, it's warm and gentle to baby skin for remedy and even sometimes I use it for myself. So, all the oil has gone...!..of course I did 'my mommy's ritual' gave her a little speech,...this is not good!...you should not do this..bla..bla...then after cleaned up all the messes, I came to her, I hug her and said "I love you Grace, I know you want to help mommy in the kitchen!,..we'll have fun in the kitchen again, okay!'....My morning was a happy morning when I saw her grimmace!...and her eyes aflame with joy.
...Heboh yang kedua, waktu aku pikir dia udah tenang nonton kartun di tivi dan aku hampir memulai kerjaan pertama-ku hari itu yaitu bersihin kamar mandi, (biasa cinderella jobs, teramasuk ngosek WC segala).. tiba tiba ini anak lari dan berteriak..'mommy, mommy, I made mess, I made mess (maksudnya dia bikin berantakan/kotor)...haddeeew, apalagi nich?..eeh ternyata, dia udah menumpahkan minyak 'Telon' kesayanganku yang aku bawa dari Indonesia, waktu mudik Maret tahun 2008 kemaren. Apalagi ini minyak Telon tinggal separo lagi...!..aku suka bau harum dari minyak telon ini, lembut untuk bayi, bahkan kadang aku juga pake. Akhirnya tidak ada setetes pun minyak telon yang tertinggal alias 'amblas'...Yaach, tentu saja pagi itu berlanjut dengan nasehat yang aku berikan buat anak semata wayangku, seperti biasa '..I love you Grace, mommy tau, Grace mau bantu mommy di dapur, laen kali jangan bikin messy ya..!...okay, nanti kita maen maen lagi ya..!. Akhir-nya pagi-ku yang ceria berlanjut happy melihat gadis kecil-ku meringis dan mata-nya berbinar senang.
